Born in Perth but raised in England, Nikki began her career at an early age. By 10 she was taking the trophies in local talent contests, wowing audiences with her obvious talent. Nikki started vocal and dance lessons at age 12 and, by 15, had progressed to a prestigious London music academy.
Having performed in various theatre productions in the south of England, Nikki had her sights firmly fixed on London's West End. Her career took a different turn, though, when her family decided to return to Australia. Nikki chose family over fame, and returned to Perth to teach music and dance.
Nikki brought her vocal talent and stage experience to the Hot Gossip line-up in 2000 and has been a integral part of the Hot Gossip experience ever since. Her influences range from stage musicals to country, though her powerful vocal delivery lends itself easily to the challenging range of power-pop and rock.
